What are your top ten favorite movies?

Creative minds are the engines behind all great ideas and innovations. The world is developed and built by creative minds. When we speak of a work of art, for example: a movie, they don’t just shape perspectives, but wield the power to influence cultures and civilizations.

Movies, just like any creative work of art; are windows into someone else’s thoughts. When one watch a movie, or maybe read a novel; especially one that really connects with them, it opens one’s mind to scenarios the piece of work wants one to see, and more.

Movies are ways for one to experience, and examine different scenarios, either of a fantasy or non-fantasy world, without actually being there. When it comes to movies, I don’t actually have favorites in particular. I simply just love any creative work, with incredible ideas.

If you want to know what a director or individual believes, wait to see what they are saying in their production. They will tell you exactly what they believe whether we believe it or not! Good stuff. (:

  4. Movies really have to grip me in the first 5 minutes, or I lose concentration. I often prefer books. I don’t like the genre of horror, and although I respect any form of creativity, I find myself wondering about the person whose mind can create such disturbing images … I can’t name favourites, but it would be a creation that takes me on a discovery of something I want to find.. not something I want to avoid .. if that makes sense..?

    • Sure Brazannemuse, you make a lot of sense.
      When it comes to creative works, no matter how random it may be, it follows a specific kind of pattern in tune with the idea, and message behind the piece of work, irrespective of the creator’s personal biases.
      This is how you know an authentic work of art. Especially when it comes to a novels or movies, because no matter how random or chaotic it may appear, it remains in tune with the idea behind the story.
      As a writer myself, this is why I say writers don’t get enough credit, especially when it comes to movie productions. I mean, take a look at marvel movies for example: they’re mostly chaotic with ideas that are realistically impossible, yet one is able to understand them, because they follow a specific kind of pattern in tune with the story. All of the special effects work, the actors and directors etc, are simply acting out the vision of the writer, who are the real creators.
