The big question… hah hah
Life is like a book, designed specifically for each individuals as they come. Now this book is empty. One can write what ever story they wish, except for the story to stick, one can’t write anything without the help of the designer. Also, one’s story has to align with the numerous already existing stories of other writers.
One is free to write anything and whatever they wish, but one’s wishes is limited and at the mercy of everyone else’s wishes. One is only free so long they play by the rules.
In life, everyone is writing a story: the politicians, your parents, the business owners, scientists, teachers, and every other identities. These are the stories that shapes one’s choices on how good and versatile one’s story could be.
If one is being honest, everyone is under the illusion of being the writer of their story, but the big discussions is already made on their behalf. One could only work with the options before them, nothing more, nothing less.
If you are in a better place in life, you should be grateful. Many individuals have been so privileged all their lives. They were born into the right network, with the right influence, all they need do is dream. In such case, one may begin to see themselves as a better writer than everyone else, but the truth is everyone else has less options.
Life could sometimes be overwhelming trying to write a good story that sticks. But never downplay your efforts. You are not doing it wrong, you are simply trying to work with a more limited option. So keep trying to find the right frequency, keep going. But, above all, never lose sight of God.

One is only free so long they play by the rules. This is a sad truth.

No necessary a sad thing when one accepts their reality, and work with what has been given.

Dear Victor
It is unimaginable joy to read your posts, as fresh as west wind of P B Shelley (Percy Byshe Shelley ‘Ode to West Wind’ : “lift me like a wave, a cloud, I fall upon the thorns of life, I bleed”).
Thanks for liking my post ‘Walk’. 🙏👌😊👍❤️
