This topic is really a very complicated one. Peace in this context is referencing a safe space for humans to excel, and live with one another without any major conflicts, form of segregations, or discriminations among individuals, or groups.
If we are talking about attaining world peace, this only means the world is not at peace. So to discuss the possibility of world peace, we will first of all have to discuss the reasons for lack of peace in the world.
REASONS THE WORLD IS NOT AT PEACE
Throughout human history, most of the major conflicts if not all, are all linked to racism, tribalism, fight for resources, control & power, or differences in belief systems.
However, why most of the reasons for the conflicts is a thing are due to ignorance and lack of wisdom by the majority. The biggest factor is the manipulations, and influences of the elites who have weaponized the tools of conflict for their own selfish interests.
IS WORLD PEACE REALLY A DREAM?
When one takes a good look at the world it is obvious a great number of individuals are living in survival mode. But what most individuals might not notice is that now more than ever before in human history, this were not to be so. Why do i think so?
We are smarter now. Now more than ever, we have more experience, the knowledge, the skills, and the technology to end most of the crises that has led to the human conflicts in the first place. Now more than ever, we could end world hunger, we could end poverty, we could minimize diseases, we could advocate for good education for all, we could raise the standard of living for every individual. But we wouldn’t. This only means our problems are deliberate, and self inflicted.
It is absurd to believe that the individuals that has brought about this disaster will ever create anything meaningful for the benefit of the entire human race without a clause for selfish interest. Read more https://dcreativewriter.art.blog/2025/01/30/the-mother-of-greed/
“A society grows and flourishes when individuals plant trees, the shade of which they might never sit in.” Until all of these issues are addressed, the possibility of world peace will remain a dream
What do you think?

I believe that learning an accurate history is as crucial as is an adequate plan for the future. Very thought provoking article.

Due the the ignorance and lack of wisdom by the majority, brought upon us by the leaders, who want to keep us ignorant so that they can use us as their workers, I fear there is no chance of world peace anytime soon. I really wish I could say differently. Great topic and great work Victor stay blessed

Not really. You may be right. However, for the very first time in human history, i fear that ignorance could be the least of our worries.

Now more than ever before, we are smarter. Now more than ever before, more individuals are becoming self aware. Now more than ever before, we are wiser as a people. We are more capable now, more knowledgeable, better equipped with great technology for positive growth.
I think God has given us a chance to change the trajectory of our own destiny. Whatever we do now, will echo through eternity. But will greed and personal selfish interests permit us to make the right choices? Does the responsibility fall on the global elites, or does it fall on us all?

Interesting point, and great thought process. I completely agree, we are smarter, more self aware and more capable. The responsibility falls on us for sure, at the same time if they keep erasing our history, then we can’t learn from it and history will keep repeating. Hence can we make the right choices, if we do not know the history of our ancestors?
