A thorough observation of the society, and i have come to understand something, that the majority of us humans have no clue of what we need. We know what we want, but we have no idea of what is needed. This is why the human live is about trials and errors.
Individuals will fight, and possibly kill one another either psychologically or physically if needed, to make their unpopular opinions or ideas accepted by the majority. Well, only for everyone to turn around after a while to fight for a new unpopular opinion to be accepted by the majority. But the thing is, the now unpopular opinion being fought to be accepted, used to be of the majority. And the circle repeats itself all over again.
The reflection of this could be seen in every aspect of the society. Be it political, economical, traditions, and many more. Then one might wonder, if it didn’t work out before, what makes anyone think it will work out now? We are like children who neglect their toys out of boredom, only to cry when it’s broken or missing.
My take on this goes as follows;
Perhaps individuals are the problem. We let ourselves be moved by greed and selfish personal interests, rather than what is actually needed. I have written lots of articles about this, you can check out my web page.
What we are missing is the God factor, which is godliness. This is the measurement of everything that is good. The society will never truly progress until we stop being led by greed.
Life is all about balance. Too much of anything could be disastrous. This simply means, individuals need to prioritize truth over wants. There is no end to wants, we are always in want. To live a fulfilled life, the truth should be our moral compass, which is the only way forward.
In conclusion, until we prioritize truth over wants as an individual, or a people, life will forever be about back and forth, filled with trials and errors. There is no perfect individual, neither is there a perfect society, we never stop developing. But should we experience any setback, at least we will know we are on the right track.

I think society as a whole (if this administration is any evidence) needs more than God. Those who claim to have God on their side are dangerous. And this is a symptom of societies throughout recorded history.
Whereas I am not advocating for or against a religious affiliation, (I am affiliated with the Unitarian Universalists myself) I think that as humans, humanity above all is what is needed.
All of the world’s great (in number) religions advocate dogmatically for love of neighbor, but who among the same is actually practicing that?
And I believe the reason they are not, is because, when you have god on your side, do you really have any reason to seek cohesion with mere mortals? Just my thoughts, Victor.

I understand what you mean violet. If you have been following my articles, you will understand that i stand with your view. I have treated this topic on multiple articles. However, you are wrong on one thing. God is not a religion. Religion is man made and can be manipulated. No man should worship religion, that is idolatry.
Take a look at this article below.

Tell me then, how do we go about separating the two?

First, one would need to understand the concept of God. People often confuse God with religion, which creates the illusion of multiple Gods amongst belief systems. But religion is no different from cultural practices, though relevant, it should never be mistaken for God. This has resulted in creating some of the endless conflict in the world.

We are missing the God factor you are so right. It’s like everyone wants their opinions to be seen and heard but no one is open minded enough to understand that opinions are like assholes and everybody has one, they so not see that maybe perhaps their opinion is not the right one. I don’t know how to explain this perfectly in words, but you did an excellent job with this post per usually Victor. Bravo

Thank you Jam. If we are being honest, the truth is, we always know the right thing to do, but we live in a world of the survival of the fittest.

You are right sadly, survival of the fittest mindset makes for a crazy and sometimes unsafe world.

A world for the survival of the fittest is run by the ego. This is where we need God.
