IT IS NOT THE EVIL WHICH IS THE WORLD, RATHER, IT IS THE WORLD OF TODAY WHICH IS THE EVIL

Have you ever taken a quiet moment of your time to reflect on the concept of good and evil in the world? Have you ever wondered, why the world is full of unpleasant phenomenons? Well, you should.

One very common misconception people often have about the world is that, it is in itself evil. This is not true. The objective reality knows no such concept. Everything follows a strict well coordinated pattern. The objective reality is constant, unchanged. This is what has made life possible, the laws of nature. This laws remains true irrespective of the human perception, and biases.

The world is true, the world is good. The concept of evil is only subjective knowledge, based on the human experience, perceptions and personal biases. The truth is, the concept of “good and evil” is a human thing. This is what makes humans free creatures, the ability to self reflect, and engage in cognitive & critical thinking.

As free creatures we owe it to ourselves to take responsibility for the evil in the world. As humans, we mostly see ourselves as separate from nature. This isn’t the case, wisdom lies in knowing that we not just a part of nature, we are nature. Everything is connected. The evil we see in the world is only a reflection of the evil within us. When we put out negative energy into the world, is it only proper we get negativity back in return.

The concept of good and evil will always be a part of the human nature. Therefore, the world is evil today because humans are evil. The first step to eradicating evil is, deep understanding and knowledge of the human nature. The greatest evil is ignorance of self.

  2. There’s always good in us, so I believe the world is better because there’s still many people who have good heart. If we think there’s more evil, then the universe will respond to our thoughts. Let’s just think the positive and spread love. This is a beautiful article, Damon.
