Existential Whole; Life & Death.

Throughout history, great scholars of different disciplines has debated the theory of existence, that there exist “a Whole” from which everything else is created. Till this day, it remains one of the most controversial subject matter in history. The Whole would have to be independent, self-sufficient, neither be created nor destroyed. In philosophy, it is called “The One”. In theology, it is called “God”. In science, it is called “Energy”. In spirituality, it is called “Spirits”.

The term “life and death” is relative. Therefore, to understand life and death one would first have to understand one’s own “Identity”. Are you your body? Are you your mind, which is thoughts and perceptions?

It is very unlikely for this to be the case, because we are from God. God can neither be created nor destroyed. When one look inward, and become self-aware; there exist within one’s self a channel of pure consciousness. This consciousness stands alone void of thoughts and perception, as a guide and judge. It is also known as “The Truth” or the soul.

The Truth stands alone. The Truth is constant. The Truth can neither be created nor destroyed. Everything else is created from the truth, as a tool to understanding The Truth. Read more https://dcreativewriter.art.blog/2024/04/07/the-human-obsession-with-escapism/

There are three types of Death:

  • Death to the soul

This is the most fatal death. This occurs when one disconnects oneself from the source, or rather “The Truth”, which results to one being lost in fiction, or rather the tools of life.

  • Death of the ego

There are two types of ego. The negative ego, which is born as a result of the death to the soul, “a lost soul”. Then, there is the positive ego which is awakened as a result of one’s self-awareness with the Truth.

  • The physical death

This occurs when the physical body breaks down, and no longer responds to stimuli. Then one returns to the source (God).

From these, it is safe to say that to be dead is to be separated from God; the denial of your own identity. To be alive is to be connected to God, which is to be self-aware of “The Truth”.

    • Thank you.
Most of that which we call knowledge is derived from our personal understanding of the objective reality/truth. Since our personal experiences as humans are based on subjective reality, it is important for us not to confuse our truth with “The Truth”.

  2. While on the subject of truth, Victor, I can only reiterate what you yourself said in the comment directly above, the God-given inalienable right (in accordance with the sacred scripture you yourself profess to be the word of God)- Free Will- allows for every man to contain his own truth.

Sadly, yours and mine will never converge. And in every way imaginable, that is perfectly alright with me.

      • I cannot discuss God with a person whose entire idea of God was established between the covers of a single book Victor.
I have to respectfully decline your offer to further this discussion.
